THE body of a man in his 30s was found in the seawaters near a resort in barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City on New Year’s Day.

Elco Dano, a fisherman, was collecting seashells when he found the body floating in the water.

Police found no signs of foul play. The man apparently drowned a few hours before he was found.

Police described the man as slim, wearing black pants, striped sweat shirt and stands about 5 foot 3 inches.

Police found a bag with personal belongings on the seashore but they didn’t find any identification cards.

Police are still investigating the incident.
