Two more titles for Don Bosco squads in Sinulog Football Cup
DON BOSCO teams continued to showcase their dominance on the football field as they added two more titles in the ongoing Sinulog Football Cup 2016 held at their own football field in Punta Princesa, Cebu City yesterday.
The Don Bosco Alumni FC and the DBTC Team II pitched in two more trophies after finishing as the top teams in the 45-above and under-nine mixed divisions, respectively, in the tournament organized by the Cebu Football Association (CFA).
This brings the total number of titles of Don Bosco to five after two days of action.
Don Bosco Alumni FC edged Abellana National School (ANS) Alumni FC, 1-0, in their championship match while DBTC Team II defeated fellow Bosconian team Don Bosco Barca, 2-0, in the finals.
Last Saturday, Don Bosco captured three titles: the under-seven mixed division crown courtesy of their DBTC-B squad and the under-15 and under-13 boys divisions titles won by two DBTC-A teams.
Meanwhile, Accenture FC defeated Timex FC-A, 1-0, in the finals to capture the men’s inter-BPO crown.
The University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors Team A downed rival University of Cebu (UC) Team A for the men’s open tiara.
