Child-caring center in Cordova seeks parents of abandoned kids
THE Children’s Haven of the Albert Schweitzer Familienwerk Foundation Philippines Inc. in barangay Pilipog, Cordova is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the parents and relatives of three children.
Gabriel Taactaac Tesing, 9, was left by his parents Nilo Samellano and Bernadita Amollo Taactaac at the FWB Children’s Home Foundation Inc. in Villabulsita, Bulacao, Cebu City on Dec. 24, 2005.
Duiuiege Chan Ibo, 4, was left by his mother Jean Rose Choing Chan, also known as Christine “Dimples” Chan Chiong, with Marilou Navales of Seaside Poblacion, Naga City in March 2012.
Aileen Maglasang, 7, was left by her mother Alma Maglasang with her father Tomas Maglasang of barangay Lambusan, San Remegio, Cebu in October 2008.
The Children’s Haven is requesting parents and relatives to visit the center or contact social worker Ligaya Maquiling or Executive Director Martiniana Mercado at 4967608. The children will be subjected to legal abandonment proceedings after a month.
