An armed man with a female companion shot an attendant of a burger outlet and robbed a customer yesterday in barangay Opao, Mandaue City.

Alvin Andales, a service crew of Angel’s Burger at G. Quano Street, was shot in the stomach and died on the way to the hospital.

Andales was busy preparing two customers’ orders when the attacker suddenly appeared at past 3 a.m. and shot him.

The man then took the female customer’s bag which contained P1,000 cash, two ATM cards, a mobile phone worth P10,000, jogging pants and a pocket Wi-Fi.

The robber then fled on a motorcycle with his female companion after the incident.
