SIX persons were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted in a drug den in Barangay Poblacion, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday noon.
It was the second time this week that an anti-illegal drug operation was conducted in sitio Kamagong.
“Bisan sa daghan operation nga gihimo, sige gihapon ang negosyo sa drugas (Despite the several raids, illegal drug operations continue in the area),” said Supt. Fermin Armendarez III, deputy chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7).
The subjects of the recent operation were Ronald Rota and Joevic Bayon.
Apart from Rota and Bayon, also arrested were Macario Japitan, Rey Bacus, Louide Alverio, and Jomar Montano, who were caught sniffing shabu inside the drug den, said Armendarez.
Packs of suspected shabu worth P200,000 were recovered, added Armendarez.
