By: Jose Santino S. Bunachita February 03,2016 - 02:32 PM

Suspended Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama issued an apology to Cebuanos who were bothered when he took a “selfie” during the Statio Orbis, the final Mass of the 51st International Eucharistic Congress at the South Road Properties last Sunday.

“Whoever were bothered, affected, confused or bewildered, I express my apologies to them,” Rama told reporters on Wednesday.

“I had no intent to hurt them. I had no intent to desecrate the event,” he added.

Former mayor Tomas Osmeña, Rama’s nemesis, showed on Monday photo of Rama taking a selfie during the Statio Orbis.
