FOLLOWING the confiscation of a kilo of suspected shabu worth at least P12 million last Wednesday, police in the last two days confiscated at least P756,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested four persons, including a woman and a teenager, in separate  operations.

The biggest haul came from the Barangay Malubog, Cebu City operation last Thursday, where they confiscated two large packs and 10 sachets of suspected shabu worth at least P700,000.

Police arrested Ruby Fabroa, 26. Aside from the drugs, five allegedly stolen motorcycles were also seized from Fabroa’s house in Sitio Pung-ol.

Fabroa’s live-in partner, Rene Cabuenas, eluded arrest.

Senior Insp. Eunil Avergonzado of the City’s Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Force (CAIDSOTF), described Fabroa as a level two drug pusher who can dispose more than 200 grams of shabu in a week.

Fabroa was detained at the Cebu City police office detention cell pending the filing of charges.

On the same day, Dalaguete police chief Senior Insp. Dexter Basirgo and his men arrested a suspect during a buy-bust operation and confiscated at least P56,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Rolly Labrado of Barangay Kawayan, Dalaguete town in southern Cebu, was arrested and detained at the police station pending the filing of charges.

In another operation, Basirgo and his men raided a house and arrested a 16-year-old boy and two men using shabu inside the house.

The two men were identified as  Veronico Amancio, 25, and Geovasco de Luna, 23. Three small sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated from the suspects.
