THE anti-illegal drug unit of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) arrested two men allegedly involved in illegal drug trade in two separate operations.
Norman Alducente, 44, was arrested in Sitio Lower Day-as, barangay Day-as, Cebu City shortly before midnight yesterday.
He was arrested by operatives of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (CAIDSOTF) during a buy-bust operation.
Police confiscated 17 packs of suspected shabu from the suspect.
In a separate buy-bust operation in Salinas Drive Extension, Barangay Lahug, police arrested Christian Gellos at past 11 a.m.
Police confiscated a medium-sized pack and 42 small packs of suspected shabu from Gellos.
Police estimated the confiscated illegal drugs from both anti-illegal drug operations to be worth P500,000.
The suspects are detained at the Cebu City police detention cell pending the filing of charges.
