As they say, start them young. DC and Res|Toe|Run held the third installment of their very successful event Rumble Yard last February 20-21, at Ayala Center Cebu where kids, and adults alike, were invited to upgrade their weekend playtime with the action-packed event.
An afternoon filled with fun and energetic activities especially prepared for the kids but enjoyed by everyone. The event gave the kids firsthand experience of what DC is all about, coupled with an appetite for cool kicks offered by Res|Toe|Run. “We want to embody the fun, active and exciting lifestyle of the youth today and join them as well through Rumble Yard,” says Edilyn Yu, Res|Toe|Run Brand Associate. “There’s an energetic side in all of us, from parents down to the kids, and that is what we wish to relive through this fun-filled weekend.”
The action-packed kids’ fair allowed the young ones to try various activities such as Road Royale where attendees enjoyed a racing videogame, Game Face On where kids and their families got wacky and had their dandy faces painted, Goin’ Gyroboardin’ where participants tested their balancing skills and coordination with a gyroboard, Fingerskating Frenzy where attendees learned and busted out some skateboarding tricks with their fingers, Sugar Rollers where participants customized and munched on skateboard-shaped biscuits, and lastly, attendees also aimed their best with Sole Shooter. Participating kids and their families were able to bond together and experience an exciting world of action sports and art through Rumble Yard that is designed and outlined creatively and in a kid-friendly environment.
