Body of dead OFW now in Toledo

The remains of the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), who died in a tunnel accident in Doha, Qatar last month, arrived in Cebu on Tuesday.

The body of Juanito Pardillo was kept frozen inside a sealed wooden box during the travel to Cebu.

Amelyn Pardillo, Juanito’s wife, said her husband’s body was embalmed in a funeral homes in Toledo City western Cebu on Tuesday and was scheduled to be buried on Sunday.

The widow said that she already accepted that her husband died in an accident and would make sure that she would be able to raise their two children on her own.

Juanito died on Feb. 28 after a portion of the underground tunnel that he was working collapsed
