Cebuano newcomer to join boxing card in Bacolod

Cebuano newcomer Kevin Jake “KJ” Cataraja joins the lineup of boxers in the May 28 fight card to be promoted by ALA Promotions International in Bacolod City.

The 20-year old Cataraja, who recently won over Mexican Tony Rodriguez last February 27 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel, started training right after he was informed by ALA Promotions International CEO Michael P. Aldeguer.

Cataraja (3-0,2KOs), will fight side by side with two-division world champion Donnie “Ahas” Nietes who will defend his WBO Light flyweight belt against Raul Garcia Hirales of Mexico on May 28.
