THE 12 Candidates of the longest running local beauty, personality, fitness, and brains pageant in the province bust moves, strike poses, and dominate the runway, fighting to win the hearts of the media as they competed for the Ms. Mandaue Media’s Choice award last April 14 at the Cebu Westown Lagoon.
The search for Ms. Mandaue Media’s Choice kicked off with a production number showcasing the individual and unique features of the contestants as they were presented to the members of the press. Each of the contestants were judged according to beauty, figure, stage presence, personality, charm, and grace. To test their communication skills, wit, and intelligence, the candidates went through a question and answer portion. After much deliberation, candidate number 10 Malka Shaver was declared Ms. Mandaue Media’s Choice 2016.
Now on its 47th year, the search for Ms. Mandaue has become one of the most cherished and high profile traditions of the Mandauehanons. Watch out for the candidates’ talent competition on April 21 and the grand coronation night on May 6 at the Mandaue Sports Complex.
