ONE of Cebu’s fast-rising young triathlete, Andrew Kim Remolino of Talisay City, marks his debut in the 2016 Hatsukaichi ASTC Asian Triathlon Championships, which gets underway today in Hiroshima, Japan.

Remolino had a strong showing in the 2016 Subic Bay ASTC Triathlon Asian Cup last April 18 where he emerged as the fastest local junior triathlete and placed sixth among the 22 male junior elite of Asia.

The 16-year-old Remolino completed the 750-swim, 20K bike and 5K run in 1 hour 2 minutes and 4 seconds.

Remolino is currently a member of the Philippine developmental team for triathlon.
