Man found hanging dead under Mandaue-Mactan bridge
TRAFFIC congestion ensued at the Mandaue-Mactan bridge at 6 pm Wednesday as personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection recovered a man who hung himself under the bridge at the Lapu-Lapu City side.
The victim was already dead one hour after his remains was recovered. Police described the victim as standing five feet tall, clad in a red T-shirt and light denim pants.
A bus ticket and a cigarette butt were found on the victim’s pants pocket.
Homicide investigators of the Lapu Lapu City Police Office said passersby called their attention on the presence of a man hanging underneath the bridge. Police have yet to identify the victim.
