A PERSON who informed police of illegal drug activities in Barangay Guizo, Mandaue City died after being shot in the chest by a still unidentified gunman at FB Cabahug Street, Mandaue City Wednesday afternoon.
Police identified the victim as 30-year old Ramsey Dequilla who was declared dead on arrival by doctors at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.
Two other persons walking in the area were also hit by stray bullets , 21-year-old Bryan Roldan of Sitio Sta. Cruz, Barangay Guizo and 58-year-old Roda Guinto of Sitio Sudlon, Barangay Guizo.
Dequilla was headed home when one of the suspects took a photo of him using a cell phone. He was upset and argued with the suspect leading to a fistfight.
One of the suspects took a gun and shot Dequilla several times.
SPO1 Marino Lofranco of the Mandaue City police said Dequilla submitted a list of names of suspected drug dealers operating in Guizo.
