Luigi files SOCE, declares P383k as campaign expenses
MANDAUE City Mayor-elect Gabriel Luis Quisumbing filed his Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) through his representative Felicisimo Berenguel, a staff of Urot Law Office at past 1 p.m. Wednesday.
In his statement, Quisumbing declared P383,978.00 in campaign expenses paid for by his own pocket.
Of that figure P45,039 went to buy coco lumber, P97,740 for campaign shirts, P95,608 for stickers,leaflets and handbills (or sample ballots), P51,200 for tarpaulin and P94,400 for the employment of poll watchers.
As of press time only eight out of 29 candidates filed their SOCE.
Mandaue Commission on Elections (Comelec) Election Asst. Jacqueline Reuyan said there were six candidates who filed their SOCE but their statements were returned due to discrepancies.
The deadline of the filing of the SOCEs is 5 p.m today and is not extendable.
