SAYING he wants to start a new life, the most wanted drug suspect in Mandaue City surrendered to police at 9:30 pm Wednesday.

Pablo Loberanes walked into the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) and turned over to the Investigation and Detection Management Branch (IDMB) some shabu and a pistol with ammunition.

A resident of barangay Paknaan, Loberanes is now detained at the MCPO detention cell, Mandaue City police chief Senior Supt. Jonathan Cabal said.

Cabal said Loberanes ranks atop their priority targets in their “Oplan Lambat Sibat.” “We are still evaluating the value of drugs he yielded,” he told reporters.
