Man shot over electricity dispute

June 16,2016 - 09:49 PM

A MAN suffered two gunshot wounds in his back and shoulder after he was shot over an electricity dispute on Wednesday afternoon.

Jeffrey Salvador was walking towards home on P. del Rosario Extension, Barangay Sambag 1, Cebu City with his mother, Starlita, when he was shot by the suspect RJ Alcos, who waited for him in front of their house along with Danny Tribunao and a certain Ampaw. He was immediately rushed to Chong Hua Hospital.

A police investigation revealed that Tribunao had sourced his electricity from Salvador’s power line. But when Salvador found out that Tribunao was sharing his power to his relatives, the former disconnected the line. This angered Tribunao, who smashed Salvador’s multicab last Tuesday. /UP Cebu Intern Patrick Byron G. Gattoc
