HOST squad Rich Catsup retained the lead after last Friday’s second leg of the ongoing Rich Catsup Midyear Bowling Tournament held at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Rich Catsup downed 2,473 pins in the three-game series to pad its total to 4,932 pinfalls after scoring 2,459 in the opening leg.
E.O Bucoy Consultants stayed in second place with 4,918 pinfalls followed by CETBA Five Star with 4,831.
Ging Francisco and Omar Marsangca knocked down 586 and 543 pinfalls, respectively to lead their team.
CETBA Five Star’s Jomar Jumapao leads the highest scoring individual in a single game contest after knocking down 256 pins in the first game last Friday while Cristilyn Tan of Hammerluck Team leads the distaff side with 205 pinfalls.
CETBA Five Star also took the highest scoring team in a single game after it knocked down 884 pinfalls.
Reggie’s Angels is currently in fourth place with 4,755 pinfalls followed by Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) with 4,691 pinfalls; 55-AB with 4,652 pinfalls; Hammerluck Team with 4,636 pinfalls and D’Achievers with 4,632.
The third leg is slated on July 1 at the same venue.
