ABOUT 30 persons linked to drug use and drug dealing are scheduled to surrender to the Lapu-Lapu City Police on Thursday afternoon.

Senior Supt. Arnel Libed, Lapu-Lapu City police chief, said these suspects decided to surrender after learning that their names were listed by barangay officials for information to the police.

Libed said he will receive them at police headquarters. He said he, Mayor Paz Radaza and barangay officials will discuss what they can do to help them.

In Mandaue City, two suspected drug dealers are also scheduled to surrender for fear of being killed in police operations.

Senior Supt. Jonathan Cabal, Mandaue City police chief, said he will present all drug dealers and users who will surrender next Monday.
