New Tinago village chief sworn in

June 30,2016 - 09:34 PM

Barangay Tinago now has a new chief after its former chairman Joel Garganera got elected to the City Council.

Rafael Briones was sworn in by Garganera at the City Hall office of the Association of Barangay Councils (ABC) president Philip Zafra on Thursday afternoon.

Briones said he intends to continue the programs already started by Garganera which include maintenance of peace and order in their barangay, sanitation and protection of their youth.

“We already imposed the curfew (in the barangay) but I will be especially strict with that,” Briones said. He also planned on tackling the barangay’s garbage collection problem./Ateneo de Manila Intern Maria Lelaina R. Cardeño
