12 homes destroyed, four damaged by Tejero fire

At least 16 structures were hit by a fire at in Barangay Tejero, Cebu City on Sunday morning.
SFO4 Jovito Abelgas of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said they received a call from one of the residents in the fire site in Sitio Villagonzalo II at past 7 am.
The fire was declared under control by 8:16 am.
Abelgas said the fire came from the house of a certain Violete Ouano who was burning garbage.
Twelve structures were destroyed by the fire while another four were damaged. No one was injured. Damages were pegged at P300,000.
