SPEWING fire from start to finish, the Supportsave Dragons scored what by far is the season’s most lopsided win as they mangled The Results Spartans, 113-55, last Sunday in the EVO League of the 12th City Sports Club-Cebu (CSC-C) E-League for Basketball at the CSC-C Gym.

The Dragons sealed the 58-point massacre behind Justin Marie Mier, Niño Belande, Edmon Paradiang, Germaine Jo Guarisma and Justine Carlo Gabest, who all finished in double figures. Mier scored a game-high 26 points, Belande contributed 19, while Paradiang and Guarisma each had 17 markers. Gabest added 12 points as the Dragons improved to 2-0 (win-loss).

Carl Atay, Jade Seno and Jonathan Mangabat finished with a combined 37 markers for the listless Spartans, who tasted their second defeat in as many outings.

Also scoring a one-sided win were QBE Generals, who disposed of the Teletech Titans, 83-60.

Staying unbeaten after two starts, QBE drew a combined 44 points from Jecon Bonsucan, Christopher James Durango, Johnrey Girasol and Philip Villarin.

Perry Niones and Jervis Pino Sildura tallied 14 markers apiece, while Teddy Manpatilan had 10 for the Titans, who slumped to their third defeat in as many games.

In the other EVO League match, the Tech Mahindra Tech Mighties continued to show their might as they kept their immaculate record intact with a 58-52 beating of the Blue Ocean Pirates.

In the Elite Classic, last year’s runner-up finisher Teleperformance All Stars climbed to 2-0 via an 85-61 trashing of the Wipro Tigers.
