Jumapao, Gonzales rule Cetba contest for August

JOMAR Jumapao and Ram Gonzales were named “Bowlers of the Month” for August after topping their respective divisions in the Friday Group of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) last Friday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.

Jumapao finished his five-game series with 1,044 pinfalls for the men’s title while Gonzales topped the ladies’ division with 1,008 pinfalls.

Jumapao’s best performance in the tournament was during the fourth game when he knocked down 220 pins. He averaged 208 pinfalls in the tournament.

Brian Sy finished second with 1,032 pinfalls followed by CETBA vice president Docdoc Gothong with 1,029 pinfalls.

Inday Aguilar, meanwhile, finished second in the distaff side with 1,003 pinfalls while Lucy Lanceta settled for third with 949 pinfalls.
