A FOREIGNER was found dead inside his rented room in Bantayan Cottage at Talisay, Sta. Fe town Saturday morning.
Police identified the 65-year-old victim as Gregory Cortez, a native of New Jersey in the US.
Cortez checked in at the cottage last July 14 and had not been seen for several days since then.
The management of the rented cottage said Cortez had difficulty in walking.
Aside from the medicines scattered around him there was no additional evidence to suggest foul play.
Police are contacting Cortez’s family in New Jersey.
