10,000BC Boxing Gym, The A Gym bets shine in Cebu Amateur Boxing tilt

THE 10,000BC Boxing Gym and The A Gym pugs shared the spotlight in the Cebu Amateur Boxing Revival leg six last Wednesday at the Cambinucot Sports Complex in Cebu City last Wednesday.

The fight card featured 12 amateur bouts with 10,000BC Boxing Gym’s Mardy Cardeno, Ashley Fajardo, Real Gabunilas and Marjun Tagbe winning over their respective opponents.

The A Gym’s Gevie Villaver, Joel Ladrada, David Tugot and John Leoniel Apostol also prevailed in their respective fights.

Cardeno beat Bryan Niere of the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC) Boxing Gym in the 51kg category while Fajardo edged The A Gym’s Marc Montefolka in the 37kg category.

Gabunilas won over CCSC’s John Kevin Jimenez in the other 37kg category bout while Tagbe beat Arian Win Melgo of Rex Wakee Salud (RWS) Stable in the 53kg category. They all won via unanimous decision.

The A Gym’s Villaver defeated Team Joeric Boxing Gym’s JM Andreas in the 43kg category while Ladrada beat RWS stable’s Jimboy Cais in the 48kg category. Tugot won over Clinton Martinez of Team Joeric Boxing in the 31kg category and Apostol beat CCSC’s Cedrick Benlot in the 36kg category.
