The remains of an unidentified young man was found floating on the river in Barangay Tungkop, Minglanilla town, Cebu on Thursday morning.
Labra Ledesma of Barangay Dumlog, Talisay Cebu City found the body while looking for mud crabs along the river and immediately reported it to local authorities.
PO2 Tahir Tadiab of the Minglanilla police precinct said the remains showed no signs of physical abuse. However, Tadiab said the body will still undergo an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The body is now under the custody of Mount View Funeral Homes in Inayagan Naga City, Cebu / Alven Maria Timtim, Siliman University Intern
