Aboitiz Cup
ATENEO A edged Don Bosco Boys Home (DBBH) of Liloan, 1-0, to become the Under-15 Boys champion in the 19th Aboitiz Football Cup held last night at the Cebu City Sports Center.
Kian Partosa handed Ateneo A the title when he found the back of the net at the 27th minute of the match.
Partosa was named Most Valuable Player while his two other teammates were also given special awards. Juan Miguel Galang was named as the Best Goalkeeper while Chris Ozawa was given the Golden Boot award.
The two other special awards were bagged by DBBH booters with John Mojico named as the Best Midfielder and J.C. Sinoy as the Best Defender.
All special awards are based on the championship except for the Golden Boot award which is based on the number of goals that a player scores in the entire tournament.
