ABOUT P10,000 worth of items were destroyed in a fire that hit a motor shop in sitio Cypa, Englis in V. Rama Street, barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City at around 10 a.m.
SFO1 Lowell Opolentisima said they received the alarm at 10:33 and put out the fire at 10:58 a.m. The cause of the fire is unknown but he said they are looking into electrical misuse as the cause.
Opolentisima reminds everyone to unplug unused electrical devices, especially when no one is home. “Kung mahimo, i-unplug gyud na ang mga (electrical devices) kung wala gi gamit.” he added.
