Miss Scuba Philippines 2014 will be crowned on today in Lapu-lapu City amidst pomp and pageantry as the country selects a new darling of the oceans, ready to promote marine conservancy and scuba diving as a sport.
Twelve finalists from all over the Philippines will vie for this title at the Pacific Cebu Resort (PCR) managed by sav Hospitality in Brgy. Suba-basbas, Lapu-lapu City, Mactan. The winner will present the Philippines in theMiss Scuba International 2014, on November 28 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
The current Philippine title holder Ms Paula Christine Love Bernasor is the reigning first runner up of Miss Scuba International 2013 and is now actively involved in marine conservation and is a strong advocate of safe diving in the country.
For the pageant weekend, Pacific Cebu Resort is offering a special package of P2,700.00 per night with breakfast for two as well as Islands Pasalubong pack and complimentary passes to watch the pageant live.
