Fire damages businesswoman’s home, neighbor’s house
A fire damaged the home owned by a businesswoman in a private village in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City at 2:32 p.m. Sunday.
Fire Investigator Emiliano Daño said only the storage area was damaged but the fire spread to another house and damaged it.
The owner was not in the house when the fire broke out. The helpers who were left there were able to save two dogs. Damage was pegged at P100,000.
Meanwhile, a taxi caught fire along N. Bacalso Avenue in Cebu City at 2:45 p.m. due to an electrical short circuit. Fire was however contained at 3 p.m.
