Police seized about P34,000 worth of paltik revolvers from two gunsmiths at their shops in Lapu-Lapu Street, barangay Suba, Danao City at noon yesterday.
Rowel Duterte Bayon-on was arrested by agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG-7) while he was assembling some guns at a shop in his home.
Taken from him were two paltik .38 revolvers worth P3,000 each.
A neighbor and fellow gunsmith Jose Pintor escaped after seeing the police. Taken from his shop were four .38 revolvers worth P12,000 and eight .22 revolvers worth P2,000 each.
