Capitol gains P9M from CPVDC venture
The Cebu provincial government received P9 million from the Cebu Properties Venture and Development Corp. (CPVDC) yesterday.
Gov. Hilario Davide III said the amount was the Capitol’s divident sharefrom a 2014 joint venture with CPVDC.
Davide also met the new CPVDC President Anecito Bisnar yesterday morning.
Meanwhile, Davide said that while no deadline has been set to resolve the conflict between CPVDC and Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) over the concrete wall in Geonzon Street in barangay Apas, he wants the issue resolved soon. Bisnar gave assurances that their lawyers are already drafting the Memorandum of Agreement.
Davide said he had also asked FLI to hasten the process.
“Aron madali na, mahuman na ni ug maresolve na tanan issues ba,” he said.
(So the process can be hastened, all issues in the conflict will be resolved already.)
The governor said he hopes there will be no more glitches along the way.
The CPVDC and AsiaTown IT Park Association Inc. filed a civil case for injunction before the court to stop FLI from demolishing the fence which separates their property from the FLI Cebu Cyberzone Project.
Capitol earlier entered into a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) agreement with FLI for the use of its 12,290-square meter lot which was formerly occupied by the Cebu City Jail.
