Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama will leave for Japan to attend the third United Nations (UN) World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (WCDRR).
Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella will be the acting mayor while Rama attends the event in which he is a panelist.
The third UN WCDRR will be held in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III and Baltazar Tribunalo, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) chief, were also invited to the conference./Reporter Jose Santino S. Bunachita
