KNOWN for their famous dancing routine, the inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation  Center (CPDRC) will now look to try their boxing skills.

The CPDRC formed its own boxing stable two years ago inside the facility in barangay Kalunasan, Cebu  City as part of the Inmate Welfare Development Program.

On Saturday night, some of CPDRC’s boxers will be put to test as they face off against amateur boxers.

Leading the way is CPDRC Stable’s George Salaogal, who takes on RR Borbon.

Another attraction will be the fight between CPDRC Stable’s Ryan Marayan and Ron Ron Calipay. Other fights pit  Marvin Narte (CPDRC) and Alberto Setenta, Jun-jun Lawas (CPDRC) and Lenmar Presillas, and Roberto Heredia (CPDRC) versus Jomel Reyes.

These CPDRC Stable boxers have actually already fought in a previous fight card promoted by Jail Management consultant Marco Toral last month.

Toral formed the boxing program inside CPDRC two years ago.
