TALISAY City Mayor Johnny V. Delos Reyes said he is finalizing his lineup for next year’s elections.
In yesterday’s 888 News Forum at Marco Polo Plaza, delos Reyes announced incumbent Talisay City Councilor Van Ylanan as his running mate.
“I don’t look at the candidate’s resources, but how committed the candidate is in changing and helping Talisay City,” delos Reyes told the reporters.
He mentioned his eldest son Clifford, an incumbent barangay councilor in Bulacao, as being included in his City Council slate.
Other candidates include Poblacion barangay chairman Balo Belleza; Pooc barangay chairman Bernard Balorio; Talisay City legal officer Alfredo Sipalay; Vince Monterde; Dumlog barangay councilwoman Monette Rabaya Uy; Dr. Chene De Castro; and Biasong barangay chairman Reynaldo Bas.
Delos Reyes reiterated his commitment to the Liberal Party (LP) and San Fernando Mayor Antonio Canoy who is running for Cebu’s first congressional district.
