FIVE persons were arrested in an anti-drug operation in Lapu-Lapu City yesterday afternoon.
The target of the buy-bust operation was Roger Sadeli, but operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) failed to arrest him.
Arrested instead were Jesus Toribia Ybanez, 31; Saidoeng Ambol, 24; Elmer Quinnatadcan Munasque, 38; Latip Desuma, 33; and Ronel Gawangan Gelig, 18. They were allegedly caught using shabu in a house owned by Sadeli, police said.
Sadeli allegedly sold a pack of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer but escaped when he noticed the presence of CIDG-7 operatives.
