Considered to be one of the oldest camera clubs in the country, and was awarded the Best Camera Club in 2014 by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, the Cebu Images Camera Club will once again showcase their masterpiece in a photo exhibit dubbed “Travel the World with Images” at the Northwing Atrium in SM City Cebu.
With members who have been to many places around the world capturing stunning images including landscapes, these photographers will exhibit 50 photos in an exhibition aimed to simply share their passion in the art of photography and fellowship among its member photographers. The exhibit also highlights the Camera Club’s 30th year anniversary.
The photo exhibit is in partnership with SM City Cebu and Fujifilm Philippines. Fujifilm’s Regional Head Nelson Perez adds “Fuji is proud to have collaborated with the Cebu Images Camera Club and SM for the success of this exhibit. Images is without doubt one of the most talented photography groups in the country and their passion for travel and photography shines through these wonderful, timeless photographs”.
Aside from joining competitions, the Cebu Images Camera Club offers local photo sessions as well as travels to different parts of the country and abroad. All present members are not just professional photographers, but also hobbyists that come from different industries, not to mention businessmen, doctors, dentists, architects, lawyers, engineers, among others.
In 2012, the Cebu Images Camera Club mounted the “Ancient Worlds” traveling exhibit making SM City Cebu as its first stop. Ancient World exhibit featured beautiful photos which captured unique feel of heritage sites around the world– Asia, Europe, Central America and Africa.
The “Travel the World with Images” photo exhibit is set on October 27 to November 3, 2015 at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu.
