TWO-DIVISION world champion Donnie “Ahas” Nietes and unbeaten IBF youth featherweight king Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo may join five-division world champion and current WBO Super bantamweight champion Nonito “Filipino Flash” Donaire Jr. in his first title defense this April in Manila.

The Top Rank, ALA Promotions International and ABS-CBN joint promotion marks Donaire’s first title defense after winning last Dec. 10 against Mexican Cesar Juarez in Puerto Rico. Donaire will be defending his title against Mexican Russian slugger Evgeny Gradovich, the former IBF world featherweight champion.

According to ALA Promotions International Michael P. Aldeguer, they are planning to include Nietes in the fight card to defend his title. Magsayo, on the other hand, has to win first against Eduardo Montoya of Mexico in Pinoy Pride 35: Stars of the Future in Waterfront Cebu City Hotel on Feb. 27.

Nietes and Donaire also fought in the same fight card last March 28, wherein Nietes, the longest reigning Filipino boxing world champion, defeated Gilberto Parra by unanimous decision. Donaire defeated Brazilian William Prado.
