Cebu City Councilor Dave Tumulak turned over on Tuesday his three service firearms to the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7) for safekeeping.
Tumulak, who is seeking re-election under Team Rama, handed over his city government-issued 9mm pistol and .45 caliber pistol as well as .38 caliber pistol that he personally owns.
He said he turned over his three firearms to show his support for the conduct of a safe and honest election on May 9.
Tumulak said he urged other candidates to follow his example.
