Liberal Party standard bearer Mar Roxas may have declared he doesn’t need the backing of influential political clans in Cebu.
But during the LP rally at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex, Roxas made sure he acknowledged the presence of political veteran, former congressman Eduardo Gullas and his grandson, Rep. Samsam Gullas of Cebu’s 1st district.
He, however, failed to greet Talisay Mayor Johnny delos Reyes, an LP member and Eduardo’s rival in the mayoral race in Talisay who was also in the audience.
Slighted by the apparent snub, Delos Reyes, who had been with LP since 2010, threatens to leave the administration party.
