FLAME It! Burgers celebrates 14 years with the annual Burger Run. With the success of last year’s event that drew 800 participants, Flame It! is looking forward to a bigger affair this year with an even bigger venue. An expected 1,200 participants with their friends and families in tow will grace the event on May 15, Sunday at SRP Sugbo Grounds. The categories are as follows: 21km distance, 14km distance, 5km distance, and 14km Group of 5 category which is composed of 3 males and 2 females. The 3km distance is exclusive to the Grassroots Running Program kids of Brgy. Guba. All registered runners will receive a drawstring bag filled with goodies.
The Flame It! Burger Run Year 2 at SRP Sugbo Grounds is not your regular fun run event. It is a day that can be enjoyed by the whole family with the fun activities lined up for participants like the Giant Burger Eating Contest, Mini Burgers Eating Contest, Flame It! Jingle Singing Contest, and Hip Hop and Zumba dancing. Special raffle prizes are up for grabs as well like the complete vacation packages for two in Panglao Island, Siargao Island, and Mactan Island. For the grand raffle prizes, Flame It! will be giving away a Ninebot One personal transporter from Hobby Extreme Hub.
For those who do not fancy joining the games, you can enjoy the variety of food and beverage stalls available. Flame It! will have Breakfast Plate All You Can for 99 pesos, which entitles you to an additional raffle entry per purchase, Coffee Concoctions Station, Sweet Station, and an open-flame grilling by the Flame It! Kombi Van.
