Abraham Kilimo of Kenya and Sultan Kudarat’s Ruffa Sorongon emerged as the fastest runners in the 21-kilometer half marathon distance of the second Flame It! Burger Run held on Sunday at the South Road Properties.
Sorongon finished with a time of 1:36.04 to rule the women’s race while Kilimo crossed the finish line in 1:12.00 to top the men’s category.
In the 14k division, Davao City’s Elmer Bartolo lorded the men’s race by finishing in 49:02 while Cherry Andrin took the top spot in the women’s side by breasting the finish line in 1:07.55.
Winners in the 5k category were Ronil Gabilan Jr. (18:46) and Rosemarie Tumamak (23:34) while Carl John Beboso (12:04) and Jesel Ochia (12:49) were champions in the 3k race.
