AIMING to create a breakthrough in the fuel industry as well as set itself apart from major industry players, PTT Philippines introduced a new fuel technology to its diesel and gasoline products last May 6 at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel.
Now available in Cebu, the Blue Innovation fuels is a new fuel technology specially formulated by the PTT Research and Technology Institute (PTTRTI) based in Thailand. Under the Blue Innovation technology are four types of fuels fit for specific engine needs and requirements namely the Blue Diesel, Blue Gasoline 93+, Blue Gasoline 95+, and Blue Gasoline 97+.
The Blue Diesel variant is blended with special formulation that gives extra power for better acceleration rate with its increased cetane level and enhanced engine performance and torque. The Blue Gasoline 93+ has PTT’s advanced formula that cleans the engine and provide extra mileage for vehicles. Meanwhile, the Blue Gasoline 95+ has a “Friction Modifier” formula that reduces the wear and tear of pistons to attain longer mileage and engine life. The Blue Gasoline 97+ on the other hand is a high performance fuel that has powerful octane booster with cleaning additives to help the engine achieve its maximum capacity.
“This new formulation will give all types of vehicles with with better engine response, fuel efficiency, and cleaner emissions that will definitely help prolong your engine’s life span,” said PTT President and Chief Executive Officer Sukanya Seriyothin.
