THE 2011 Elevens remained in a class of their own as they upped their unbeaten streak to four games with a 69-65 victory over the 2015 Samurais in Division 3 of the University of San Carlos North Alumni Basketball Conference President’s Cup last weekend at the USC North Gym.

Anthony Romaguerra continued his torrid shooting from the outside with 27 points to propel Batch 2011 to a clean 4-0 win-loss record, the same as the 2006 Fury. Batch 2006 notched its fourth straight win without sweat winning by default over the 2004 Rebels.

Meanwhile in other games, the defending champions 2008 Flyboys made their way up the standings with two straight triumphs over the weekend.

They first disposed of the 2007 Waybus, 77-72, behind the 27-point showing of Nico Magat which was backed by solid performances from John Cabellon, Ralph Alo and reigning Division 3 MVP, Don Adlawan.

They then bested the 2014 Underdogs, 84-74, as Miko Santos exploded for 24 points. Batch 2008 now owns a 3-2 card.

Finally, the 2010 Pioneers evened their record at 2-2 with a 60-59 squeaker over the 2005 Chameleons.
