Thirsty Fresh Fruit Juices and Shakes continues to give Cebuanos exciting sports events as it stages the Thirsty Summer Run on March 26 starting at The Terraces at the Ayala Center Cebu.

The running event is part of Thirsty’s goal and commitment as a brand that promotes health and wellness.

Recently, Thirsty also staged its 14th edition of the Thirsty Football Cup that drew 250 teams from various places around the country held at the Cebu City Sports Center.

“We organized this run because we wanted something that would be easy on the pocket for participants,” said Pages Holdings Inc. top honcho Bunny Pages.

Pages and his son, John, the VP of Pages Holdings Inc., led a press conference yesterday at the Pages Holdings Inc. office in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.

“This is different from other runs because it’s easy on the pocket for the runners. It will purely be a fun run since there will be no cash prizes. Instead, we are giving away a lot of items in the raffle draw,” said John Pages, who is also one of the organizers of the Cebu City Marathon.

Registration fee for the race is only P50. This will include a race bib, a raffle entry and a free lemonade drink. Registration forms are available in Thirsty outlets round Cebu.

The run will have 3k, 6k and 12k distances. The route will be the roads inside the Cebu Business Park.

Aside from football and running, Thirsty has also organized other sporting events like basketball, lawn tennis and badminton before.
