MANILA, Philippines–The Sandiganbayan Fifth Division has rescheduled the hearing on the prosecution’s bid to transfer Senator Jinggoy Estrada to a regular Jail due to confusion on who among the wardens in Camp Bagong Diwa should appear in court.

During Friday’s hearing, instead of sending a jail warden, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) sent Senior Inspector Crisyrel Factore Awe, Deputy Director for Legal Affairs.

Awe explained that there are seven detention facilities inside Camp Bagong Diwa and seven jail wardens.

Awe said they do not know who among the seven jail wardens is being summoned to appear in court.

Noting that Awe is not competent to answer their queries, the court will issue another summon to BJMP NCR Director Romeo Vio.
