A 23-YEAR-OLD man was found hanging dead in his house in barangay Don Antigua, Borbon town, northern Cebu.
Police said depression may have driven Dominic Bersero to kill himself.
His father told police that Bersero showed signs of depression when he and his wife separated when the man was still 16 years old.
The father said he and his son had breakfast together last Monday.
His son had complained of a toothache in the past three days. The father advised his son to see a dentist but he insisted that he would just rest.
The father later left to work on their farm. It was around 9 a.m. when the victim’s grandmother found him suspended from the ceiling of his room with a rope looped around his neck, said police.
