SACRED Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) acquired multi-titled head coach Jordan Paca in a major acquisition that is expected to bolster the Magis Eagles’ campaign in the upcoming volleyball tournament of the Cebu Schools Athletics Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) volleyball season.

Paca, who will serve as an assistant coach to Mario Sala, steered the Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras to a rare double grand slam last year but left the team last April.

Sala said he brought in Paca because of his commitment to help take the team to a higher level and his experience in national competitions.

“We are both serious in the coach’s obligation in developing a team entrusted to us,” Sala said.

Sala added Paca, together with assistant coach Jamel Macasamat, can learn from each other’s experiences.

“We know that our individual pride as experienced coaches can derail the run but the good thing is all three of us share and listen to our ideas that is best for our program,” Sala said.
