INGEMAR Macarine, also known as the “Pinoy Aquaman,” was forced to cancel his attempt to cross the English Channel in Europe because of bad weather.

Macarine’s original plan was to swim yesterday but had to back out for safety reasons.

He is still hoping for the perfect timing to cross the 21-mile (33.7 kilometers) channel from Dover, United Kingdom, to Calais, France, but chances are very little because of the continuous bad weather.

Stuart Gleeson, who was supposed to accompany the Boholano by boat, said that it’s almost impossible to cross the channel this month because of the weather.
